Job Description:
Responsible for performing a wide variety of client care activities and must function in accordance to state law, and applicable regulatory agencies. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide direct care, intervention and counseling and functions as a role model for the consumers assigned to the unit. The Residential Counselor serves as a member of the treatment team, offering input to the clinical staff in the development of treatment and discharge planning. Must have CPR, First Aid, Restraint Training, Medication Certification and TB or willingness to obtain.
